The Desert Island Dilemma
Ahh, yet another heartwarming desert island joke.
(Also, today we’re celebrating Norway’s National Day. Happy birthday to us!)

Happy 17th May! Eat some potatoes to celebrate.
Or human flesh, I guess, but that’s less of a Norwagian thing.
I guess this comic should have a “someone dies eventually” tag. Ba-zing! =P
Really? No “somebody dies” tag? Cuz… I think it deserves one.
Nothing goes down better than a sun dried beach corpse.
I totally need a copy of that book if I’m ever deserted on an island!
Seeing as it doesn’t look like there are any coconuts in that tree, I hope all those recipes use sand, raw wood and leaves. And some salt water.
@Trowa: Someone eventually dies…
And if you read the first panel carefully… Someone already died as well. So I think the tags could be: “Someone already died”, “Someone else is about to die”, “cannibals”, “desert island”, “Norwegian cooking”
Ah yes, the infamous “someone eventually dies” tag that I never actually made. Probably not going to either, considering it’s possibly funnier when left out – but the main reason is that you can, if you want, have completely unrealistic and naive hopes that whoever’s starring in the strip is going to make it somehow! :D
Not so much in this particular strip, however… Beard Dude is *totally* going to end up as a main course.
Human sushi, human chowder, human side up, human cocktail, human gumbo, skinned human, fried human, human-kabobs, slow roasted human, honey roasted human, human on the rocks, mashed human, diced human, minced human, tangy human, slow cook human, human cakes, human tarts, red human, human sandwitch, human doodles, took a bite out of a live human, iced human, cheesy human, pickled human, human stew, bloody human, human pizza, ranch style human, human and dip, sugared human, glazed human, rancid human, human human…and das about it.
Well I horrifically have another web comic to keep up on, thank you.
“I guess it’s just you and me left *again*”
I love it when you re-read the strip and laugh again :-)
@that guy: Wow. Just… wow. Thanks Bubba!
@-2!: I welcome thee!
@YB: Ah yes, and there’s another visual clue in the first two panels hinting that the entire setting might have been played out a few times before… but perhaps I made it a bit too subtle.
I see the visual clue in panel 2 now. And three.
You hide things in your comics.
Tell me, are you “Glasses Guy” in real life (as in do you look anything like him)
