Flight of the Living Dead
Brains! If I counted correctly, and I don’t really think I did, the third panel of this strip is indeed the 1000th comic panel on this site. For more retarded statistics like this one, scroll down to the anniversary blog post below!
Also, the awesome title “Flight of the Living Dead” has previously been used for a supposedly pretty bad movie – but also a pretty neat and unrelated webcomic. I say skip the movie but check out the comic.
I’ll take zombies over crying babies any day…
Also: Ive seen “Flight of the Living Dead”. And it was actually better than “Snakes on a Plane”. They have pretty much the same basic plot, but hey – zombies!
Oh and it has the best piece of technobabble ever: what turns people into zombies in that movie is a “modified strain of the malaria virus”. Yes, malaria /virus/. Really. :D
@Mrh: years later I figured you should get a nod of appreciation for your biological/epidemiological accuracy. Consider this a comment parasite.
Loving the “someone dies” – “someone lives” tags! Another great one! :)
With Transformers theme…*zombies in the skyyyyy* :P
Kaffe? Eller Te?
Minner meg om gamle reklamer pÃ¥ TV2 gitt…
Zombies On A Plane!
You know… like ‘Snakes on a Plane’. Lol…
Also congrats on the 1000th panel!
Great stuff, mang! I just found your site maybe a month ago and its been bookmarked ever since. Love the art AND the jokes. You tired of pbf comparisons yet?
Congrats on the milestone 1000 panel, also.
Brilliant as always. Love the brain jammed into the coffee pot.
Thanks, people! I’m sure I could come up with some kind of anniversary for the next strip as well. 125th comic with 4 panels! 50th strip where someone bleeds to death! But uh, I guess I shouldn’t…
@Mrh?: Ah, maybe it’s worth checking out after all. Snakes on a Plane was indeed rather mediocre — in retrospect the best thing about it was the bitchin’ title and the anticipation hype.
@Waid: Thanks, that’s cool to hear! And no, I definitely don’t mind the PBF comparisons – it’s absolutely a huge inspiration. Although there’s no denying that my jokes tend to end up a whole lot sillier, though.
