Eh, it’s better this way. The few times I could remember my dream ideas it was stuff like “Put a paper towel in a plastic cup, and then turn it on. See how it starts activating the recipes? Brilliant!”
But he did write it down! Too bad he was still asleep when he did it…. The sleep-written scrawl is classic.
On the other hand, I’ve known people who claimed to be able to write computer programs in their dreams, and remember them. When they woke up, the effect was as if they’d had a disk failure, they didn’t have a saved copy but they could remember what they’d written and reproduce it fairly quickly.
I had the weirdest “programming” dream in a semi-lucid state myself. I had been wracking my brain trying to solve a graphics problem, back in the day where game graphics were based on 32×32 icons, and actually came up with a workable solution by seeing what the finished product looked like in a dream.
I woke up, drew the graphics, and it worked exactly like I had envisioned.
I still can’t be 100% certain I wasn’t simply in a fugue or other strange semi-conscious state, since that day I had been exhausted and awake for many, many hours before I went to bed, but the envisioning was certainly true. =)
I lost so many good joke and comic ideas when I though “Ahh, I surely can remember them”
Yet some shitty dreams I had as a child is still vivid in my mind… :P
Now I remember not to trust my sleepy self and write down good dream ideas asap.

Like being drunk but you don’t wake up in a strange place with a strange person and a strange tattoo. All “great ideas”

I wonder what was the idea that made you draw this
