#3 My computer had problems, so I have made sure I have two Time Machine backups and also copied all the files from one of them to make sure it’s usable (since I fumbled things and accidentally knocked it off the table; it bounced on the floor, eek; but it’s all readable and I copied all the files). So yes – backups are good. Hopefully I won’t need them.
ProTip: If you think you won’t interfere with the cable and yank something off the table, don’t trust yourself. ;-)
