Work broke me like that one time. I had the most stressful day I’d ever had at work, to the point that I wound up driving home obliviously, with a creepy smile on my face, at 10 km/h under the speed limit.
I was aware I was doing it. But somehow I was dissociated from it.
Then I got home and sort of sat agape thinking “Holy crap, what just happened?” =P
My guess: you were fantasizing about quitting. That always makes me grin uncontrollably.
Its like the “someone dies inside”Tag was made for this comic.
