Four-five-one
Here is a comic again! This one is inspired by modern game design, which apparently is terrified of the player getting stuck in any way whatsoever.
Not related to that part, but I played the first few hours of Deathloop, and it is actually pretty unique and quite special. The beginning had me a bit confused about how things works, but I think I’m getting the hang of things. Oh, and there’s a trophy for entering 0451 into any keypad…
What I like is when there are multiple possible ways of proceeding in games. Missed the code? Maybe there’s a hacking mini-game, maybe there’s an axe and you can smash open the door with it.
What I hate is when you fail to click on one of three pixels in the shadow under a bed and an hour later you still can’t get past a certain gate, even if it looks like you should be able to step over it.
personally; I hate both when answers to puzzle are given or hinted instead of allowing me to solve intriguing brain challenge, and when puzzle is made so confusing you have trouble figuring how it even works, let alone starting to solve it
