An Illuminating Read
During my extensive research I discovered that these things are apparently NOT called Lanternfish. Instead it’s Anglerfish, and Lanternfish is an entirely different species. Missed opportunity, fish scientists!

Cthulhu can change his size at will, but I guess you already knew that. Obviously he had to reduce himself to book-size for the last panel anyway.
Would have been funnier without the fish being impaled. Now it’s just grotesque.
