My grandfather knew a guy who’d use ducklings as bait for large mouth bass. He’d tie the line around their legs so they’d swim in circles. A bigass treble hook hangin’ below would snag the bass. When it was pointed out that he could probably use wooden ducklings instead he replied that carving was a pain in the ass, but the ducks seemed to enjoy making more ducklings.
Oh, by the way, I saw your Tetris comic on artige.no
“It’s Optipess! The comic guy!” I said when my brother showed me it :P http://artige.no/bilde/1555
@DylanBowie: Nice! Uh, or not. The image on their site was not only much smaller, but also edited to remove my name and site URL at the bottom. To be honest, I’m not much of a fan of sites like that – another “funny” site with zero original content and no links to credit the creators. And, the only marginally original content there are f-ing rage comics, and don’t get me started on those…
Thanks for bringing it to my attention, though. I might send them an email to remove the image, but I’m not sure it’s worth the effort. Any thoughts?
Also, 2 000 likes? Pretty disheartening to see that’s way more likes than *my* post got.
Goddammit, internet. I could rant on this issue for hours.
@Kristian: That sucks. I didn’t even notice it at all because I’d recognize your comics anywhere no matter what… Why would they even edit it away when they don’t get a shit out of it exept from taking away your credit for creating it.
He didn’t have time to be digested. Shouldn’t he get set out again?
Well, you see, the thing about sharks is that they have these teeth, so that, digested or not, there’s not much to set out again.
Also, good comic.

Hahaha, poor doggie :)
Sadly, using dogs as baits for fishing sharks is a quite a common « mistake » on the Réunion Island (videos and newspaper articles can be found on the intertube …)
Poor guy D:

Ha ha ha… it took me a bit to catch that the dog went down with the anchor. I like the fact that his eyes are welling up!
That looks like a lake.. But it can’t be.. Sharks.. Hm..
Bull sharks. Nasty buggers. Can live in fresh water and swim inland long distances.

I forgot to mention that 2000 people liked the Tetris comic on facebook.
