@Ina: Ah yeah, I saw that link posted in the Reddit thread for this strip as well. I usually read WulffMorgenthaler, but I haven’t kept updated on it the past couple weeks. So yeah, it’s a weird coincidence, I agree.
But yeah, this was one of those jokes I figured just had to have been done before, but I couldn’t really find anything through a google search.
Actually, I first thought of it when browsing Reddit and spotting an image submission named “THE UNIVERSE”, heh. For some reason the beauty pageant was the first thing I thought of.
