Blind Date
Uh oh, I hope that my blind readers don’t think I’m making fun of them with this strip… If you’re blind, and you’re reading this, you should know that you’re definitely (almost) as important to me as every other reader!

You should be careful, the blind make up a sizeable proportion of the webcomic-reading community.
“Oh, your face is so . . . uh . . . Cold and clammy.”
Too funny (again). Though this begs the question: Does Jason pack a battery powered Jarvik in there too?
How do you propose blind readers will read this comic, exactly?
We are so thankful of your consideration of blind people! In fact we are building a statue of you in our city!
P.S. What are you talking about, Mikey?
Didn’t know Jason was such a romantic. I wonder where he finds his dates?
That is so sweet actually. In a creepy horror way. Would be sad when she discovers he is a serial killer and he will be rejected. But it would be a opening for him to kill her.
Heheh, big BIG lolz here. One of the best in a while. :)
Ha, ha, ha! Sweet (in more ways than one).
I don’t know why I don’t feel the need to rush thru your wordless comix like I do others. I tend to rush other comics, but I take my time with yours.
@Mikey
Uhhhh… it’s a little thing called satire. You might have heard of it…
Funny comic by the way :D
This is great and all, and I really do mean that, but surely this could only work in the short term, right? I mean, dead people faces tend to rot (or so I’ve been told) and he’d have to kill some similarly-looking person to keep up his “disguise”
@tm0rk
Craigslist.
He probably doesn’t even get creative and posts something along the lines of “Serial killer looking for a blind chick. I like blondes”.
AND IT WORKS.
Oh my god that is horrifically funny. You’ve outdone yourself with this one Kristian. Brilliant!
Well, blind people could have someone read the comic for them, and then have it described to them. But I guess that might ruin the joke, and all that would be left is the creepy idea of someone doing something like this to a blind person. Or not! I don’t know!
Thanks, people! Here, have some comic strip trivia: This strip idea had actually been kicking around for about three years, I think – until I figured I could add Jason into the mix and this version emerged. Originally it had a lot more text as well, in a redundant “narrator” style, but I ended up removing all that.
I like the fact that he puts a finger up in a gesture of “wait just one second” despite her being blind…
