[Extremely Witty Comeback]
Here is a comic about preparing every iteration of dialogue in your head before having a conversation! I’m not the only one who does this, right? …right?
Oh, and in other insane news, ever since starting drawing Optipess I’ve numbered my comics, and this particular comic is number 1000! This doesn’t quite mean that there are 1000 comics on this site, mostly because I know I’ve scrapped a few comics along the way. But I’m probably pretty close to the 1000 mark! Feel free to go through the entire archive and count every comic to set the record straight!
Also, I will be going on a mini summer vacation over the next couple weeks. Updates might be sporadic!
Congratulations on 1k comics, Kristian! You rock!
If you click on “Posted in: Comic” it says right at the top of the page that there are “988 results.” So I guess as long as you’ve uploaded them all under the “Comic” category, then you’ve published 988 comics.
Also, clicking on your name gives “(1027)” results and if you subtract the 39 entries from the “blog” category, you get 988 again. So that’s seems to be the correct number of comics on this website.

I will believe in your observations without checking.
That sounds about right! In addition: there are also a couple guest comics in the archives, as well as one or two I’ve re-run or re-mastered.
I think I’ve read them all (having binged on your site a few years ago, when I found you) and I’m glad I did.
Hope you have a fantastic vacation!
As someone who has Autism this scenario is all but familiar to me as I have a tendency to plot conversations out in my head.
The problem with it is that it can be some time consuming and can make me so incredibly uncertain that I sometimes already expect conversations to go bad before they begin.
