These are highly evolved deer, obviously! They can extend a middle finger of their hoofs to pull triggers. It also comes in handy for making obscene hand/finger gestures.
Oh deer… I hope this doesn’t happen to me when I start hunting next season. I’m more worried about the wild boars though. Their projectiles will be sligtly more spear-like.
By the way I love the depiction of the hunter. Propper gear, and the look in the first panel is priceless!

Haha, actually I meant for it to look like he’s doing a “fist pump”, but your suggestion totally makes sense.
Reminds me of the game Deer Hunters Revenge. You got to be a deer, and hunt down hicks. They were measured by how many teeth they had :D
