In Time
A couple things:
1) Today’s comic is maybe a little bit inspired by the legendary David Lynch. I attended an interview session (and book signing) with him the other day during his stay here in Norway, and while it was over all too quickly, his however brief statements and anecdotes about creativity were truly insightful.
2) This is my 200th Optipess comic posted on this site! Thanks for sticking by me for all these silly comics, and hopefully you’ll be around for 200 more.
Awesome! Congrats on the 200!
Rock and roll! Keep ’em coming.
Nice work! They’ve been a great 200, and I’ll be back as long as they keep goin up!
Wonderful twist!! Love the idea and hope you’re as great in the next 200 as you were in the former!
-D.
Witty, as always. It’s been a great 200!
Congrats! And is that a vicious cycle I see? ^^
Now animate it so glasses guy is waking up the blond guy…then he wakes up the cuckoo… then…
I feel very stupid now but…I don’t get it. :P
@Tom: And here I was thinking this one was rather straight-forward, or perhaps circular instead, I should say. Maybe this helps. Either way I guess you’ll have to fill in a few gaps on your own on this one. Not sure if there’s anything to “get”.
@Kbman: Funny you should say that. I thought about animating this one, and the main source of inspiration (next to David Lynch), was the mindbendingly crazy videos by Cyriak – look him up on YouTube if you’re not familiar with his stuff. Maybe I’ll look into making a forever looping version of this comic one day.
Thanks for your comments, dear readers!
I don’t get it either :)
Why is a person waking up a cucu bird? And is that a clock inside a clock?
Congratulations and thank you for bringing smiles to our faces
If you will be I will be unless something explodes me in the meantime.
Reminds me of the short animation film Maestro

I only link it because it’s hungarian, and I’m hungarian too :) They don’t speak in it so everybody can understand it.
LOL you should have him running out of the top story of a financial building waking a giant robot.
Brilliant comic to signify 200!
I’m surprised people aren’t getting this comic, I think it’s funny as hell. Congrats on numero doscientos, amigo! And here’s to 200 more!
David Lynch and this comic is simply awesome ! Probably I should watch MD again.
