Given the natue of the sand bar/island he is on there should be pipis and other mollouscs at the tidelines. (look for bubbles in the sand. ) you can make that into a yabby pump by unscrewing/knocking off the bottom, mix sand wih your poops wrap it in your shirt teavit in an inch of water or at the point the waves stop this will encourage algae/krill to hover bringing shoals closer…
