Labyrinth
Um yeah, maybe I should’ve gone with David Bowie at the end after all. But then again, drawing his spandex pants would definitely prove too troublesome — both technically and emotionally.

Impressively good work on the scarf, given how oddly mr Minotaur is holding the needles.
Talk about fail… XD
I think you should’ve drawn 16-year-old Jennifer Connelly. Dear Merciful Poseidon Almighty, I still have dreams about her that date back from my childhood.
Awesome comic, btw!
Very funny, from now im going to comment in spanish (im mexican) just to give a strange view
Y la verdad haces un buen trabajo con las atmosferas, la simpleza y suficiencia es agradable
David Bowie indeed. Though only He could have gotten away with that costume (and Ziggy Stardust for that matter).
You could have, though, had the Minotaur sing about knitting his Technicolor Scarf of Death or how he was simply a misunderstood giant before murderizing poor Perseus; and still wouldn’t be as much a Big Lipped Alligator Moment as those hideous orange creatures and their show stopping number.
Awww, no Bowie? First thing I thought about when reading the title of the comic on Twitter. Bowie could have been knitting that sock he must have had packed down his underwear during the shoot of LABYRINTH. Either that, or he was as smitten by Connelly as I were.
On another note, very cool comic! The style is convincing in regards to the setting and material.
…except she was 14 at the time! I was very smitten myself, but then I was also 14 at the time. Or something.
Anyways, gorgeous lighting/shading and contrasts.
Labyrinth!
Missing the ‘missing the ‘guy with glasses’ tab’, isn’t it?
@WithOutWithIn: Ah yes, fixed now. I knew I was forgetting something in my “5 minutes before deadline” scramble to upload the strip.
Re: Bowie. I was going for a more “Greek style” with this comic, so the Bowie angle didn’t occur to me until later. But yeah, it could work to have him appear in the third panel, and in the fourth he’d be knitting some rad spandex pants. Hah well, but we’ll see if I ever get around to drawing that. I’ll add it to my ever-growing list!
Re: Connelly. Ah yes, always gorgeous – although maybe not in Requiem for a Dream. However that’s depending on your level of kinkiness.
@Gin Hindew: Thanks! I had to google translate your comment – but yeah: Gracias!
Just… Wow, not just clever, but the art is top notch. Keep it up!
i read about this in a Scolastic(tm) magazine in ela. nice touch with the bull knitting a sweater.
I love me some Mythology jokes.
Hahaha. Great !!!!
I like It. “Foolish human running twine into my maze, HA new scarf for me death for you”
Hahaha, awesome.
HAhAAHHAhahAHha, being a greek and a mythology enthusiast at heart, i found this extremely hilarious. I ‘d never imagine that, i think xD haha
