Yup, both in Norway (where Kristian’s from) and in Hungary (where I’m from) the comma’s the official decimal mark (but we are not alone: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_mark#Hindu.E2.80.93Arabic_numeral_system :P).
Personally, I’m used to seeing both as a decimal mark (and we don’t use thousand separators in everyday life), so it’s hard for me to comprehend how it could be confusing in this context.
Well, the beauty of this one is that (unless he’s edited it) it actually looks sort of like both a comma *and* a period. I saw only a period when I first looked at it (being Canadian and all) and didn’t even skip a beat.
That’s not a penis, that’s a third leg.
Can’t see shit on Netscape. God I hate the internet 2.0. Can you downgrade this comic to 1.0?
Thanks

I can’t tell if that says 16.5 or 16,5 inches. A comma would just be confusing there.
That’s because in many European countries the comma is used as the decimal separator.

Üdvözlet :D Azt hittem én vagyok az egyetlen magyar, aki ezt a képregényt olvassa :P
Sose te vagy az egyetlen:)
Hah, thanks for the explanation. Yeah, I’m in the same boat as I don’t really bat an eye at seeing it either way. Americans, on the other hand…

Actually I changed it without telling anyone! Oops.
As a pro, it’s always hard as wood.
As a con, I don’t think he’ll feel much.
By the way, it’s Geppetto, with two ‘p’s.
Ah, I thought I fixed that. It shows up as two p’s here at least.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
After puberty, it was no longer his nose that grew…
