@Esn: Ah – well, there’s the “Human Terminology” strip, which also features lazers writing stuff, but different jokes, imo. Actually I think the inspiration for this one came from reading a lot of robot strips over at Simulated Comic Product.
I especially like the “Marry me” encoded in the binary, although it is difficult for any carbon-based lifeforms to read around the top vertex of the heart. Most people just write random sprawls of 1’s and 0’s and hopefully people don’t go too far into thinking. Excellent job.
