I like the subtle details like the shacking second panel and the facepalm of the girl angel that tried to warn them :D
Although it took some time till I figured out that arrow is actually a shadow. :)
The guy is doing the facepalm. Notice the other angel isn’t wearing glasses…
Ahh yeah, now I notice. I thought they were different persons with the same faith that tried to warn them :D My manly senses didn’t notice the boobs (shame on me I know XD )
The two angels in the third panel are actually glasses guy and the girl, post avalanche. My guess is, she’s facepalming because they ignored the warning signpost and got turned into “real” angels.
Maybe you guys see something I don’t, because to me it seems like it is the guy angel that is facepalming, not the girl.
It does look like the angel on the right is wearing glasses, which would make it the guy. Then again, the angel on the right also sports a significantly enhanced bustline. I’m stumped now.
The guy’s glasses are squared, yet the eyes of the angel on the right are rounded. Obviously, the facepalmer is the guy.
Why are their ghosts/angels wearing T-shirts, though their living selves weren’t?
It’s not a t-shirt, it’s an angel onepiece.
And spectral beings often portray themselves as they see themselves. The t-shirts is Glasses Guy’s and Lady’s (she got other name?) normal attire, when not dressed in snow cloaks.

If that “uplifting” isn’t a pun foreshadowing Monday’s strip, I will eat my hat.
The angel on the right isn’t wearing glasses. Her eyes are in an annoyance/frustration/anger configuration, which is commonly used with non-glasses-wearing characters in this strip.

The alt text made me laugh, nice work.
My first thought was that this was alot like a Perry Bible Fellowship comic that came out long ago, but of course not with the idea it had been stolen.. This comic has always been supremely original with ideas. I just figured other people might think the same, but start yelling about “idea theft.”
After comparing them though, the only similarity is that lovers get avalanched. Honestly, Optipess does it better by playing off of the pun “snow angels.” PBR’s just relies on dark humor.
