Suicide Savant
Ah, that tag combination makes me all warm and fuzzy inside…
Also, in case you missed it on Friday: I went ahead and remade most of the “Dance!” strip, as I wasn’t particularly pleased with the first version. Here‘s the new version.
What’s he holding in his right hand?
Looks like a razor-blade. I’m not shure how he cut his right wrist with it though.
If you’re gonna do it, do it right.
Yep, it’s a razor blade. He’s probably planning to cut the wrist of his left hand just before firing the gun. The original plan was to use a shotgun, actually, but that would be even harder to pull off correctly. Also, as the news article briefly mentions, carbon monoxide poisioning from car exhaust was also part of the plan, but it proved to be quite difficult to get working in an open air setting. :(
I actually heard about somebody doing something like this. The impact ruined his aim, the bullet damaged the rope, and the impact on the ground made him throw up the pills.
well looking at the last panel and seeing it described as a “tragic outcome” I find is the best part. It seems that in all dangerous things we do we are still too stupid to grasp the concept that it was really REALLY FU@#ING DANGEROUS. So we call it a tragedy
ha — pretty dark. i do think the cheering crowd on the bridge was a nice touch…
If you think about it, he may have also broken the record of 4 potential kills within a 30 second mark.
Effing achievement whore.
You know, I’v always tought of that LMAO
That’s a pretty fair representation of how the news media would have handled it in reality.
“He was an inspiration to us all!”

Lady’s suicide attempts always fail. So she does a whole ton at once.
A French did comic writer name Franquin did a similar comic strip a few decades ago, I’ll see if I can find it on the net.
