The Deadliest Catch
Hey, reader! My vacation is sort of over, so here’s a brand new Cthulhu comic for you to gaze at. I hope the old comics posted in the past weeks were tolerable substitutes for new stuff while I was away. Also, I got some very generous donations recently, so thanks for that! Each and every one of the contributors are in my thoughts at all times, with their names always chanted repeatedly when I doze off to sleep.
Hey! And again a really nice comic!
One and a half year ago I found your website and my first picture I saw from you was the tic-tac-toe thing with Freddy and Jason.
Thank you for your comics! I love them! ;D
Thanks Rebecca! That’s super cool to hear!
…do doctors even wear that stuff on their heads anymore? in particular, do they wear it around mental patients? ;-D
Hah, probably not! Maybe I should’ve gone with the Freudian stereotype instead.
Ia, Ia! Nice one. :)
…I think HP Lovecraft ought to start paying you royalties or something.
Ha! If anything, it would have to be the other way around.
Ahem…
Brilliant! I don’t know if it was intentional or not but I got four laughs out of that.
1. Scrolling down I see he caught what appears to be a HUGE octopus. (Chuckle)
2. The octopus just becomes a bigger monster as I scroll down. (HA!)
3. The monster turnes into Cthulhu. (Oh my god, that’s great!)
4. thinking the joke was over, I see the last panel. (big smile of gratification)
Nice Job! :)
This makes me wonder: If over-exposion of Cthulhu makes you go insane, wouldn’t that mean that all the creatures in the sea around him are suffering from a case of perpetual insanity?
Like many of your comics, this surprised me. I love the details you put into your work – like the tentacle in the second panel and the whale and squid in the forth.
@Filthy Pazuzu: my favorite little detail is the steady downward progress on the doctor’s chart.
Kristin, is there a white room at the last panel?
