I’m new here. I found out about Cosmic Horror recently and was looking for something relating to it.
Found your webcomics and lemme tell you-it oozes Howard Philiphs Lovecraft like incromhesible body of Shoggoth (I named my Grimer in “Pokemon Moon” Shoggoth BTW XD).
Anyway.
This one really speaks to me.
Fellow insignificant human (cause you are a human, right) I am in the very same emotional position as you. I really hope that year 2017 will be better than this one.
You are kind of trying too hard man. Optipess sort of/also makes fun of the “edgy nihilistic memes” that the internet is spewing out constantly, and not really endorses it. (hence the “Opti” part) In other words, it’s more existentialist than nihilistic.
(Otherwise I wouldn’t read it. if I want to read “cute things being nihilistic” where that is the “actual punchline” on every. single. comic. then I would read Bluechair/Owlturd. Okay, that’s a bit mean to Owlturd, but he does pull this crap quite often.)
